Our thought process began with a simple notion of making a new experience based on an existing tradition. The desire to be remembered, therefore has lead us to re-exam the importance of the headstone and how new technology can breathe new life into this age-old artifact. My Tomb is the brainchild of such notion of persevering information digitally. The device inside My Tomb allows one to record and store his images and video clips. The built-in camera can also record a video of the person who comes to the tomb so that in the future, he becomes part of the history as well.
It is our intension to give broader context to the family and personal history where memories alone often fall short to comprehend. My Tomb brings a new possibility to extend the bridge beyond the boundary of time and physics, it enables us to cross paths with present and future that can only be of significant when one goes where his love one is buried.
