A few thousand years ago, time measurement by earlier people had been to erect an eight-foot long stick on the ground for recognizing the time through the light shadows created from the sun, which becomes what we referred to as the sundial. The creating concept behind the work has derived from the concept of sundial, intended to remind people that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to slow down one’s pace amid the hectic schedule of the modern society and the era of racing with time, by abandoning the concept of minute and second needles but letting the time stick move slowly. Slow down to observe the interaction of time and shadow, and experience how nature and the universe interact with your heart. Come discover the many hidden wisdoms in the details, and experience every detail in life with heartfelt emotion.
