Experience


Experience is life-long collection of a person¡¦s knowledge, memories and emotions, translated into the tangible and intangible elements of vision, touch, sound and conception. Personal experience inspires designers in various ways, and life itself fundamentally influences our innovation.

Current development of technology has transformed our communication method and living standard. Products with complex designs or compiled functionality often fail to address the basic human behavior and desire for simplicity.

Designers need to be sensitive and considerate when addressing the essence of user-friendliness. Creative approaches need to follow the inclusive and responsive methodologies that encompass the ethical implementation of our life experience.

To solve the issues of everyday life and establish the interaction between user behavior and the product response, the 2005 Taiwan International Design Competition invites entries inspired by a user-centric and experience-related approach. The campaign focuses on processes relevant to the values of use-friendliness and welcomes designs that meet the needs of all people.
