2009 Multi Development and Application of Language and Linguistics (MDALL II) is a conference dedicated to the mission to provide forum for linguists around the world to gather together to share the knowledge and vision. This time our theme is Research and Practice of Corpora that focuses on the following topic areas:

4. Contrastive Corpus Linguistics
5. Corpora And Language Teaching

8. Corpus- or text-based lexicography
9. Corpus-based studies of any language level in any language
10. The Web as a corpus
11. Applications of computer-aided text analysis in non-linguistic fields (market research, advertising, media studies, sociology, psychology, etc.)

Deadline for abstract submission November 15th, 2008
Acceptance notification to authors December 15th, 2008
Deadline for submission of full paper March 1st, 2009
Deadline for early registration April 15th, 2009

Abstract and Submission
Abstracts should be at most one page long with one-inch margins and typed in at least 11-point font. An optional second page is allowed for references. Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author, or two joint abstracts per author. The abstract should be submitted via Internet as listed in the conference website below. Please visit the section of “abstract submission” in the website. In addition, the basic information should be provided when you submit the abstract, and please also refer to the website.
